Club Objectives

Objects of the Society

The objects of Club Rad (Curtin Medical Imaging & Radiation Therapy Students’ Society) are to:

  1. Promote connection and community among Curtin University students enrolled in Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy courses.

  2. Support academic and professional development by promoting networking opportunities relevant to the medical radiation sciences field.

  3. Represent and advocate for the interests and wellbeing of Medical Radiation Science students within Curtin University and the wider student community.

  4. Facilitate social engagement through inclusive events and activities that encourage collaboration, peer support, and work-life balance.

  5. Encourage leadership and volunteering by providing opportunities for students to contribute to club activities, events, and initiatives.

  6. Foster relationships with industry and professional bodies, including the Curtin School of Allied Health, ASMIRT, and other relevant organisations.

  7. Uphold the values of professionalism, integrity, and respect in all club operations, ensuring an inclusive and welcoming environment for all members.
